Great source of inspiration for sustainable living. I particularly like the suggestion of getting into gardening. It’s great for the mind, the body, and you get fresh homegrown produce out of it.
Like you hinted at when you mentioned eating locally, I’d like to add that we can also make a difference by supporting local farmers and businesses. By buying locally grown produce and products, we can reduce our carbon footprint and support our local economy. Great article!
Thanks for the comments Ben,
I am glad you were inspired by the article. Yes, gardening is one of my favorite ways to be more sustainable, and it is so much fun to grow my food. I live in the North West where the farmer’s markets don’t start up until spring but instead, I am a member of Full Circle a farm-to-door delivery service that offers organic produce, farm products, and recipes. They strive to get most of their produce from local sources as much as possible. Looking forward to spring and gardening again.
Thanks again,
Linda
