Overall Rank: 9 I am giving a 9 just due to some redundancy in the different training modules I have taken so far as a Premium member.

How I came to be a premium member of wealthy affiliate.
I have looked into affiliate marketing many times in the past. I am a business consultant, recovering film and video producer, and web designer. I went back to school 10+ years ago after burning out on a 30-year career directing and producing film and video. I had a talent for web design and pursued a degree. But in the back of my mind was this thought that the whole affiliate world might be something I would be interested in. Fast forward to today, semi-retired and wanting to increase my income. I revisited my interested in affiliate marketing and eventually discovered Wealthy Affiliate. At first free seemed unlikely but after checking out other sources and doing deep background checking on the platform I decide to give the free version a chance.
Training Quality Section
The training was excellent. I renewed my skills with WordPress (a big win) built a website in just a few days, with keywords, a couple of pages and my first blog post. This was a big win and I could not get enough. I upgraded to premium and am enrolled in the Bootcamp training. I now have a very nice website and I am building it out with more blog posts and affiliates that will bring that “all elusive” passive income people talk about.
What the trainng and platform isn’t is a get-rich-quick, do nothing and earn passive income. Part of what I like about the training is that it is honest. It requires work to start earning, but there is a nice timeline presented that is very doable. I can apply myself based on how much time I have to spend and take the training when I am on my schedule.

Research Tools
Wow! I am totally impressed with the Jaaxy proprietary tool used by Wealthy Affiliate. After training with the tool I am actually finding keyword research fun and no extra cost! That is big, since I do business
consulting and website builds for small business I have needed to do quite a bit of SEO research and keyword finding. I it is grueling sometimes. But with Jaaxy, oh my goodness, it is actually fun!

Mentorship/Support
This is also impressive. From the very start Kyle, one of the founders, has been in touch with answers to questions personally along with the great trainings he walks through. I build my website and did my
research right along with the training. When I had a question I would stop and send him a message. I received an answer so quickly I was not stalled in the training. Then there is the huge member participation
that I can also go to and ask questions. Sometimes I would get an immeadiate answer from a long time member more quickly than Kyle could answer. I never feel alone, lost or confused.
Besides the one on one support there are so many videos that Kyle and other have made that once going Premium I have had access to that there is no reason to feel frustrated. From WordPress questions to SEO and anything in between about membership and the business of doing business, there are so many resources. They are well organized and easy to access. No reason to think that I will not be successful at reaching my financial goals.
Websites/Hosting
The fact that Wealthy Affiliate is a hosting platform as well as a training center is fantastic. Having built many websites and set people up with a domain and hosting with various platforms. This an amazing benefit. I hit ground running and didn’t look back. They take care of the details of all that set up. WordPress of course is a leader in the industry, tried and true. WordPress has a great reputation for SEO and now that I am re-familiarizing myself and have support I am falling in love with it. If nothing else, taking this training would be good for anyone who wants to build a website with WordPress. You won’t need to pull your hair out trying to figure out how to do something in the platform, help is at hand just a chat or an email away. Needless to say I am impressed with the WA platform.
